In most cases if you have keyboard damage the best thing to do is replace the keyboard with a new one. Some companies will tell you you can clean the keyboard. This is not a good idea. For 1 good reason. Under the keys is a cusion and scissor clips. Under the scissor clips is a membrane that recieves the keystrokes you type and transfers the information not across cables but across a carbon bus. When you spill liquid on your laptop the carbon bus is is disintegrated. The carbon that is disintegrated cannot be replaced. The keyboard must be replaced. Many years ago we tried cleaning keyboards with the best cleaning items on e market. In some cases it worked, however after a couple of weeks of tapping on the keyboard the customer would type in one letter and another letter would show on the screen. This is because of the junctions of carbon cross other channel lines under the keyboard and cause distorted connections. The best thing to do is replace the keyboard.
There are rare occurrences when you change the laptop keyboard and the same problem is still there.
